Bestselling Author Dr. Krupesh Thacker launches ‘Music Therapy for All – Let the Music Heal’ India tour

On World Mental Health Day 2024, a transformative initiative titled “Music Therapy for All – Let the Music Heal” has officially launched, spearheaded by Dr. Krupesh Thacker, affectionately known as ‘Arjun,’ one of the best music therapist of India. Over the course of 50 days, Dr. Krupesh will journey through 25 cities across India with a mission to promote the healing capabilities of music therapy. This remarkable tour, organized by the Give Vacha Foundation and Krup Music, seeks to raise awareness about the significant therapeutic benefits of music therapy. It aims to address various mental, physical, and emotional challenges while enhancing overall well-being. In an era marked by increasing mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, along with concerns over physical disabilities and rising suicide rates, music therapy presents a valuable alternative for healing. By harnessing the power of rhythm, melody, and sound, music therapy can effectively reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and assist in managing chronic pain.

Dr. Krupesh Thacker’s “Music Therapy For All – India Tour” serves as a beacon of hope in this challenging landscape, offering a unique and non-invasive approach that resonates with individuals across all demographics. With 25 years of experience in music therapy, spirituality, and medical science, Dr. Thacker is deeply committed to the principle of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, which translates to ‘The world is one family.’ This philosophy drives his dedication to transcending barriers of age, gender, and social status to share the benefits of music therapy with everyone from children and youth to women, elders, corporates, and even animals and plants.

When reflecting on his journey, Dr. Thacker attributes his insights to his educational background and professional experience. He did his MBBS from M.P. Shah Medical College in Jamnagar and later pursued a Master’s in Health Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the USA. He has also completed certificate courses in Health IT, Music Production, and Music Recording Technology while gaining valuable experience in healthcare research in the U.S. Notably, he is the only Indian recognized among the distinguished alumni of UNC Charlotte. upon returning to India, Dr. Krupesh founded the Give Vacha Foundation, rooted in the principles of Karma Yoga and the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. Over the past decade, he has led numerous cultural, societal, health, and literary initiatives through this foundation. He serves as both the ‘Gunje Gita Global Ambassador’ and India’s ‘Clubfoot Awareness Goodwill Ambassador’ for initiatives focused on global awareness.

As a singer-songwriter and music composer with over 100 songs to his credit, Dr. Krupesh has also launched music for more than 18 films worldwide under his record label, Krup Music. His creative works including feature films, web series, and music videos have garnered global appreciation. Alongside India’s first family band & Bhagavad Gita Global Ambassador, Parv Fusion Band, featuring world’s youngest singer, Parv Thacker, Vacha Thacker and Dr. Pooja Thacker , he has performed over 100 shows of “Gunje Gita”, successfully merging music therapy with spirituality. His other notable initiatives in music therapy & spirituality include Chalo Ram Bane and Naad Shivoham. Dr. Krupesh’s contributions to the field have garnered recognition and praise from Gujarat’s Chief Minister, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, as well as the state’s Home and Health Ministers.

Dr. Thacker’s ongoing tour will take him to various venues such as orphanages, old age homes, hospitals, schools, colleges, corporate offices, malls, gau-shalas (cow sanctuaries), farms, and public parks. He will lead group music therapy sessions while providing personalized treatments aimed at addressing mental and emotional challenges and supporting physical recovery. Having conducted over 150 successful sessions in music therapy, Dr. Krupesh has developed specialized therapies including Music Therapy for Brain Rewiring, Third Eye Activation for Children, Happy Periods for Women, Anti-Ageing Therapy for Elders, Balanced Life Programs for Youth, corporate wellness initiatives like Let’s Fight Depression, and stress management therapies. Additionally, he has designed diploma and certificate courses in music therapy offered by Krup Gurukul in Kutch in affiliation with Kutch University.

Dr. Krupesh Thacker’s contributions to music therapy will soon be featured in his documentary film titled “Let the Music Heal: The Music Therapy Journey”, alongside the upcoming release of his book “Music Therapy for All.” As a bestselling author of the “The Arjun Uvacha” series and “Bhagavad Gita Secrets,” Dr. Krupesh continues to leave a lasting impact through his creative endeavors including his award-winning feature film “Je Pan Kahish E Sachuj Kahish.”
