The “Gunje Gita Champions League” is an annual contest organised by the Give Vacha Foundation, Krup Gurukul, and Krup Music. This unique competition is designed to engage participants in the profound teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, blending the spiritual with the creative. The contest begins on Janmashtami, a festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, and concludes on Gita Jayanti, which commemorates the day the Bhagavad Gita was revealed to Arjuna by Lord Krishna.

General Process to Participate:

  1. Registration: Participants can register online through the official websites of the Give Vacha Foundation, Krup Gurukul, or Krup Music. The registration typically opens a few weeks before Janmashtami.
  2. Submission of Entries: After registration, participants are required to submit their entries based on the themes provided. These themes often revolve around the teachings and verses of the Bhagavad Gita. Entries can include various forms of expression, such as recitations, musical renditions, or creative interpretations of the Gita’s teachings.
  3. Preliminary Rounds: The initial rounds involve judging the submitted entries. Participants may be required to perform or present their submissions live or through recorded videos, depending on the contest format.
  4. Workshops and Guidance: Throughout the contest, Krup Gurukul and Krup Music may offer workshops or guidance sessions to help participants refine their understanding and presentation of the Bhagavad Gita’s teachings.
  5. Finals: The contest culminates in a grand finale held on Gita Jayanti. Finalists are selected based on their performance in the preliminary rounds and are given the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of a distinguished panel of judges.
  6. Awards and Recognition: Winners of the Gunje Gita Champions League are honored with awards, certificates, and other recognitions. The contest aims to inspire participants to delve deeper into the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita while promoting cultural and spiritual values through artistic expression.
