ABOUT GUJARATI MIJAAJ
Gujarati Mijaaj is the world’s longest Gujarati literature and music festival celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Gujarat. Kicking off on 11th August and culminating on the birth anniversary of Kavi Narmad on 24th August, the festival is a lively platform for literature enthusiasts, writers, and poets to showcase the diverse and colorful world of Gujarati literature. Organized by the Give Vacha Foundation, Krup Music, Esy ID, and GLCC, this festival has been meticulously designed by festival directors Dr. Krupesh Nayna Shashikant and Dr. Pooja Pravina Jagdish to highlight the cultural significance and essence of Gujarati literature in a grand and meaningful way.

Known also as the Gujarati Sahitya Sangeet Parv, the festival features numerous activities such as book publishing and launching, seminars, poetry recitals, and talk shows to honor Gujarati authors and the literature of Gujarat. The first season of Gujarati Mijaaj was part of the world’s longest literature festival, the Krup Literature Festival, and promises to be a grand celebration of Gujarat’s literary and musical traditions.

GUJARAT CHILDREN’S LIT FEST
The “Gujarat Children’s Lit Fest,” part of the world’s longest Gujarati literature & music festival Gujarati Mijaaj Festival, is the most extensive festival dedicated to children’s literature in Gujarat. Known as “ગુજરાત બાળ સાહિત્ય પર્વ,” it starts on 11 August, coinciding with the birthday of Vacha Thacker, Gujarat’s youngest child author, who has won numerous awards for her children’s books.

Organized by Give Vacha Foundation and Krup Music in collaboration with Esy ID and Krup Publishing, this festival is a vibrant celebration of art, culture, language, and music tailored specifically for children. The event integrates seminars, workshops, book publishing, poetry recitation events, and interactive conversation shows, all dedicated to nurturing the younger generation’s creative and intellectual development.
