From Kutch to Hollywood: Dr. Krupesh Thacker’s Parv Fusion Band to Represent India at HIMA 2026
HIMA: India’s entry to Hollywood Independent Music Awards
Ahead of National Doctor’s Day (1st July), Krup Music proudly announces that India’s First Family Fusion Band, Parv Fusion Band, has secured a nomination at the 2026 Hollywood Independent Music Awards (HIMA) in the World category, representing India alongside global artists.
The nomination comes under the leadership of Dr. Krupesh Thacker (Singer-Songwriter, Composer, Music Producer and Music Therapist), alongside Parv Thacker, Guinness World Record holder and the world’s youngest singer, Vacha Thacker, the world’s youngest multilingual author, and the three-generation Parv Fusion Band family.
With the HIMA Awards Ceremony and Hollywood Red Carpet scheduled for 30 July 2026, Dr. Krupesh Thacker will represent India at the Hollywood Independent Music Awards, the same international platform where A. R. Rahman was previously honored.
Sounds of Sanatan: Vol. 1 Continues Its Global Journey
The HIMA-nominated Sanskrit Hanuman Mantra track “Resonant Roar of Hanuman” is featured on the album Sounds of Sanatan: Vol. 1, which was previously placed in GRAMMY® Awards consideration (For Your Consideration), continuing its international journey from the Recording Academy to Hollywood.
The album features seven original Sanskrit-inspired compositions:
- Sacred Sounds of Ganesha
- Resonant Roar of Hanuman
- Glorious Chants of Jalaram
- Mystical Mantra of Ganpati
- Powerful Echoes of Ram
- Divine Vibrations of Krishna
- Nirvana Bliss of Shiva
The HIMA-nominated composition “Resonant Roar of Hanuman” is also featured in the upcoming Hindi feature film Main Bhi Arjun: Parv. Alongside it, “Glorious Chants of Jalaram” is featured in Nanakda Pagla Bhare Haranfad (Gujarati), while “Powerful Echoes of Ram” appears in Tiny Steps Take Giant Leaps (English).

The album reflects Parv Fusion Band’s vision of presenting India’s timeless spiritual heritage through contemporary global music.

More than a musical release, Sounds of Sanatan: Vol. 1, including the HIMA-nominated composition “Resonant Roar of Hanuman,” was created to support two of The Krup Universe’s flagship initiatives:

The international journey of Parv Fusion Band extends beyond this nomination.
In addition to Sounds of Sanatan: Vol. 1 receiving GRAMMY® Awards consideration, Dr. Krupesh Thacker serves as a Recording Academy Voting Member for the GRAMMY Awards and has been invited as a GRAMMY U Mentor, reflecting his continued contribution to music, education and creative leadership on the global stage.
The 2026 Hollywood Independent Music Awards (HIMA) nomination marks another important milestone in that journey.
